APAI is often contacted by agencies, businesses, and members of the public seeking trusted contractors, suppliers, and industry partners throughout Indiana — and we proudly recommend our member companies whenever possible. Whether you’re a producer, contractor, supplier, consultant, or industry partner, APAI membership offers opportunities to build relationships, grow your business, stay informed, and strengthen Indiana’s asphalt industry together.
Producer Contractor Member
- Producer Contractor Membership is available to any company that owns or operates one or more asphalt plants producing asphalt used in the State of Indiana.
- Producer Contractor Member representatives fill 17 association board member positions, and each is a 3-year year term.
- All board representatives are elected by the full APAI membership at the annual meeting.
- Producer Contractor Member dues are based on a tons-produced scale (minimum $2,500/year).
Binder Supplier Member
- Binder Supplier Membership is available to any company that supplies liquid binder used in the production of asphalt pavements throughout the State of Indiana.
- Binder Suppliers are eligible to serve a one-year term on the APAI Board of Directors, with seats rotating on an annual basis to ensure broad representation across the membership.
Laydown Contractor Member
- Laydown Contractor Membership is available to companies that place asphalt pavement in the State of Indiana but do not own or operate an asphalt plant.
- Stay connected to industry, build relationships, and be part of the conversations shaping the future of asphalt paving across Indiana.
- Eligible to serve a one-year term on the APAI Board of Directors, with seats rotating on an annual basis to ensure broad representation across the membership.
Associate Member
- Associate Membership is designed for companies and organizations that support the asphalt industry in a variety of ways. This includes, but is not limited to, engineering consulting firms, equipment manufacturers and distributors, aggregate producers, milling contractors, additive suppliers, haulers, bonding and insurance companies, accountants, attorneys, and other industry-related businesses.
- While Associate Members are non-voting members of the Association, they remain an important part of the collaboration and partnerships that help move the industry forward.
