Perpetual Pavement Awards

The Perpetual Pavement Awards were developed by the Asphalt Pavement Alliance (APA) to recognize long-life asphalt pavements in the U.S. that demonstrate outstanding design and construction.  These pavements are recognized in three categories: Perpetual by Performance, Perpetual by Design, and Perpetual by Conversion. The nominations are reviewed and approved by the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT).

Perpetual by Performance

To achieve the Perpetual Pavement by Performance award, the project must be at least 35 years old with no structural failure and at least an average of 13 years between resurface intervals.
